About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Shift (3x12-Hour, 19 : 00 - 07 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Experience : Previous oncology and PCU experience required;
at least 1 year of inpatient hematology-oncology experience or multiple travel assignment completions with a minimum of 2 years of inpatient RN experience.
License : Must have a valid compact or state nursing license. Certifications : Basic Life Support (BCLS), Chemotherapy certification Must-Have : Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) chemotherapy certification or equivalent- IV starts and telemetry experience Job Description : Work in a comprehensive Cancer Center with 318 acute care beds.
- Inpatient units consist of 36 beds, specialized by cancer diagnosis.- Participate in hematology oncology, ICU, PCU, medical, pulmonary, and surgical units.
- Provide specialized nursing care based on oncology service lines.- Complete fingerprints promptly as part of the credentialing process.
- Comply with specific travel and compliance requirements.- Work collaboratively with a team to provide high-quality patient care.
Additional Information : Flu vaccine is required, with medical exemptions only.- The orientation period is 24 hours.
