Caseload : (K-12)

Job Description :

We are seeking a dedicated full-time Speech Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) to join our assessment team in Denver, CO! This role will serve students from kindergarten through 12th grade, providing essential speech and language evaluations and support without carrying a caseload.

The position focuses on assessing and evaluating speech and language disorders across a diverse student population.

Responsibilities :

  • Assess and Evaluate : Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of speech and language disorders in K-12 students.
  • Develop Therapy Recommendations : Develop and recommend individualized therapy plans based on assessments.
  • Collaborate : Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational professionals to support therapy goals.
  • Documentation : Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations and recommendations.
  • IEPs : Contribute to the development and updating of IEPs as needed.
  • Conduct Evaluations : Conduct re-evaluations and initial evaluations as needed.
  • Team Participation : Participate in team meetings and professional development.

Qualifications :

  • M.A. / M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
  • Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Certification.
  • Creative planning and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based speech and language therapy practices.
  • Experience with AACs and communication devices.
  • Experience supervising a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant is preferred.
