Job Description :
We are seeking a dedicated full-time Speech Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) to join our assessment team in Denver, CO! This role will serve students from kindergarten through 12th grade, providing essential speech and language evaluations and support without carrying a caseload.
The position focuses on assessing and evaluating speech and language disorders across a diverse student population.
Responsibilities :
- Assess and Evaluate : Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of speech and language disorders in K-12 students.
- Develop Therapy Recommendations : Develop and recommend individualized therapy plans based on assessments.
- Collaborate : Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational professionals to support therapy goals.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations and recommendations.
- IEPs : Contribute to the development and updating of IEPs as needed.
- Conduct Evaluations : Conduct re-evaluations and initial evaluations as needed.
- Team Participation : Participate in team meetings and professional development.
Qualifications :
- M.A. / M.S. or Ph.D. degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) Certification.
- Creative planning and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of evidence-based speech and language therapy practices.
- Experience with AACs and communication devices.
- Experience supervising a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant is preferred.
