Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage cybersecurity programs, ensuring best practices and compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance cybersecurity measures and strengthen technology infrastructure.
- Oversee the delivery of complex projects, ensuring timely and effective outcomes.
- Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and motivating team members.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Key Requirements :
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity and general technology management.
- Strong knowledge of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and CIS Critical Controls, with proven experience applying these frameworks in the public sector.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and manage high-performing teams.
- Expertise in strategic planning, with a focus on cybersecurity and technology solutions.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Nice-to-Have :
- Experience working in a consultancy or similar client-facing role.
- Familiarity with municipal government cybersecurity needs and challenges.
