SR. TAX ANALYST, TAX ACCOUNTING
Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility
This is an opportunity to join a dynamic Company in the tax accounting group responsible for managing the consolidation of company global tax provision.
Key Areas of Responsibility
- Prepare and review of quarterly and annual worldwide income tax provisions
- Assist in tax accounting analysis, research and documentation
- Collaborate on tax accounting special projects
- Support tax process documentation and SOX controls
- Assist the overall U.S. GAAP tax accounting process for company international subsidiaries
- Assist in providing oversight, guidance and training to the International Tax Compliance & Reporting team
- Assist with uncertain tax position accounting and reporting
- Assist with quarterly and annual financial reporting, including financial statement audits and reviews
Qualifications :
Education and Experience Qualifications Required :
- Undergraduate Degree in Accounting or Finance with an advanced degree in Tax or Business Administration preferred
- Licensed CPA
- 4-6 years of experience in public accounting or in a U.S. public multinational company
- Strong working knowledge of ASC 740, corporate income tax, accounting for foreign operations and uncertain tax positions
- Strong goal orientation, sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Ability to establish priorities and to establish and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills
- Must be able to adjust and work effectively in a dynamic, changing environment
- Experience with OneSource software platform including UTP and OneSource Provision
