Job Description

Responsible for the day to day operations of the Count Room and its staff. Ensure that all controls are maintained over uncounted coins / funds during the drops and count processes.

Responsible for supervision and operation of currency collection and accurate reporting of currency, tickets, and chips collected.

• Supervise and direct count room attendants.
• Ensure that policies and procedures are strictly and consistently followed.
• Responsible for personnel-related matters including but not limited to interviewing, hiring, scheduling, training, coaching, counseling, evaluating with the assistance of the Finance leader.
• Keep employees informed of new activities and procedures.
• Oversee the drop and count of currency as required by Internal Controls.
• Prepare currency for use / deposit.
• Oversee count room equipment, utilize preventive maintenance techniques, and coordinate regular servicing to ensure equipment is in proper working order.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
