Description
The Principal Process Engineer will be responsible for :
Develop and Optimize Powder Processes
Lead the creation and improvement of processes for producing and handling battery powder materials (e.g., anode, cathode).
Ensure Material Quality
Conduct testing and analysis to ensure powders meet performance and quality standards for battery manufacturing.
Design Efficient Manufacturing Processes
Design and scale powder processing methods like mixing, coating, and drying to support large-scale production.
Collaborate Across Teams
Work with R&D, production, and engineering teams to align powder processes with battery development goals.
Lead and Mentor
Manage and mentor a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance on process improvements and technical challenges.
Profile
The successful Principal Process Engineer will be responsible for :
Expertise in Powder Processing
Strong background in materials science and powder processing, particularly in battery materials like anodes and cathodes.
Proven Problem-solving Ability
Track record of optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, performance, and cost.
Leadership Skills
Experience leading and mentoring teams, with the ability to collaborate effectively across R&D, production, and engineering teams.
Relevant Industry Experience
Hands-on experience in battery manufacturing or related industries, with knowledge of lithium-ion battery systems.
Innovative Mindset
A proactive approach to developing and refining powder processes for advanced battery technology.
