Position Summary :
The Dental Hygienist will be responsible for delivering high-quality preventive dental care and education to patients. This role involves performing dental cleanings, assessments, and treatments while ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for all patients.

Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque, tartar, and stains.
- Perform patient assessments, including taking medical histories, measuring gum health, and charting dental conditions.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary recommendations.
- Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments as needed.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, maintaining a sterile environment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in dental hygiene practices and technology.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications :
- Associate's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.
- Valid state dental hygiene license and current CPR certification.
- Strong knowledge of dental procedures, tools, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
