The Senior Technical Cloud Product Analyst wears many hats. As an Agile Delivery Master you work with our Enterprise Technology and Operations Cloud Platform product group supporting public cloud and DevSecOps Pipeline teams.

At Ally we utilize AWS as our main public cloud provider. You are a decided scrum master for two of these teams, and a facilitator in our ETO scaled agile model.

You are versed in Agile principles, familiar with both scrum master or product owner responsibilities and confident in coaching both the engineers and product owner.

You have a customer focused mindset and partner with other agile delivery masters across ETO to share knowledge as well and align deliverables.

As part of the Cloud Tech Analyst team you will also facilitate coordination and tracking of major changes, with a limited ask for after hours change.

The ideal candidate is an agile delivery whisperer and has strong relationships with the teams they support. They have experience in maturing agile teams in the past.

In addition they have strong organization skills and can demonstrate their appetite for learning and flexibility to adapt to change in both the technical and product domains.

You have a passion for working collaboratively and use client feedback and needs to help drive a vision.

The Work Itself

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, Jira backlogs and dashboards, and creating repetitive story tickets automations for two teams
  • Ensure documentation from confluence, to Jira stories, to JQL which drives Jira dashboards.
  • Streamline processes within the Cloud Transformation Analysts team for the application teams we support
  • Works in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks
  • Participate and coach team on best practices in the scaled agile ceremonies they are part of including a scrum of scrum and big room planning
  • Assist in the development and subsequent on-going management of processes and tools to automate and streamline program routines such as roadmaps, process flow, and fact / metric-based status reporting
  • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned

  • You are a master of longer term metrics to delivery the full products, especially burndowns and roadmaps
  • Facilitating implementation of multiple major changes in one change window, may be after hours (8pm or weekends / midnight) on a limited basis.

The Skills You Bring

  • 3+ years industry experience within the technology domain in one or more of the following : product management, product development, technical analyst, system analyst or agile product owner
  • 1+ years experience in team development, i.e. supporting and growing a team as a servant leader (scrum master)
  • Understanding of agile software development methodology and industry best practices
  • Expert level knowledge of Atlassian products, including JIRA, JQL, and Wiki; experience with Jira Plan and story mapping preferred
  • Must be self-motivated with a desire and drive to continuously learn and grow as a professional and as an individual
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and ability to balance multiple projects
  • Well-developed communication skills including facilitation and collaboration skills with a demonstrated ability to broker agreements among diverse, differing, and / or conflicting perspectives / priorities
  • Experience with Microsoft the O365 suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Forms, and SharePoint
  • Continuously seek ways to make processes more efficient and identify improvement opportunities leveraging metrics and data storytelling
  • Working knowledge of PowerBI, preferred
