The Business Office Associate provides assistance and support to the Business Offices, Assistant Director of Business & Finance, and School Leadership.
This position supports the Finance Department with various reporting, communication, and data tracking ensuring absolute confidentiality of information, files and records while offering Grade A Customer Service.

REPORTS TO : Assistant Director of Business & Finance
Primary Responsibilities
- Data entry and tracking of all items related to the National School Lunch program
- Point of contact for all inquiries regarding our food service program, including, but not limited to : oversight of special meals and food allergy processes and implementation, food complaints, field trip lunches, lunch time monitoring as required, special meal days as required
- Support ordering approved by Business Office Manager, to include but not limited to the ordering of meals and food-related events for staff and other stakeholders
- Support lunch program, including verification of procedures and parent communication
- Preparing meal service related communications for School Leadership, and / or marketing team as appropriate
Additional Support Functions
- Processing payments for various items, including but not limited to : fundraisers, field trips, lost materials, 8th grade and 12th grade dues
- Performs regular duties of Business Office personnel to include delivery of mail and packages, scanning bills and other documents, stocking and maintaining the Business Office supply and uniform closets, processing thru FMX and processing from Business Office email
- Responsible for cash verification and reconciliation when appropriate
- Support families and stakeholders with solid customer service that is aligned with the aims and position of the Schools and Network Offices.
- Perform other duties as directed by the Assistant Director of Business & Finance and Business Office Manager.

This is a part-time position around 25-30 hours / week with starting pay at $20 / hour.
Requirements
- Minimum of a two-year degree in clerical / office management or two years’ experience performing, at a high level, the duties and responsibilities associated with this position.
- Must possess strong organizational, problem-solving skills and be able to multitask in a busy environment.
- Must be proficient with Google applications and other computer application skills.
- Must be positive, work independently and adapt with the changing needs of this growing school.
