Position Overview : We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing excellent customer service, be sales and goal-oriented, and possess a keen eye for detail.
As a Retail Sales Associate at LoveBug Baby and Kids, you will play a pivotal role in assisting customers, driving sales, and maintaining the overall presentation of our boutique.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist customers in selecting merchandise by offering product knowledge, recommendations, and guidance tailored to their needs.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment, including restocking shelves and arranging displays.
- Actively participate in achieving sales targets and goals, utilizing upselling and cross-selling techniques as appropriate.
- Stay informed about current promotions, new products, and baby care trends to effectively communicate with customers.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and returns promptly and courteously, striving to resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations and foster a positive working environment.
- Uphold company policies and procedures regarding sales, returns, exchanges, and store security.
- Contribute to inventory management by monitoring stock levels, conducting inventory counts, and notifying management of replenishment needs.
Qualifications :
- Previous retail experience preferred but not necessary. Willing to teach the right candidate
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Sales-driven mentality with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and basic computer skills.Experience with Shopify is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
