We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Public Finance Assistant to join our team in supporting transactional Public Finance attorneys at our San Antonio office.
This role offers one day a week remote work, dependent on attorney need, and will initially support a team of 4 attorneys.
Candidates must have prior experience working in a law firm environment, preferably with exposure to public finance or real estate practice areas.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, contributing to public finance closings and maintaining a busy desk.
Hours :
- 40-hour workweek, Monday to Friday, 8 : 30 am to 5 : 30 pm
- Flexibility in hours depending on the attorneys supported
Responsibilities :
- Drafting and editing lengthy and complex documents; bonds
- Filing transcripts with the Texas Attorney General
- Communicating with clients via telephone and email
- Coordinating and scheduling transaction closings
- Organizing and completing transaction transcripts
- Posting documents to file share sites, assembling, and scanning documents
- Standard legal assistant responsibilities including time entry, billing, travel arrangements, and expense processing
Requirements :
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and document management systems
- Accurate word processing skills with strict attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple projects, delegating when necessary
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Law firm experience required
