- Flex start time CNC SWISS LATHE MACHINIST ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS : · Set up machines (calibration, cleaning etc.) to start a production cycle.
- Control and adjust machine settings (e.g. speed)· Load raw material to bar feeder machines.· Inspect parts accurately to verify conformance with specifications, using mics, calipers, gages, and other measuring equipment.
- Monitor machine performance regarding quantity output and quality, making adjustments as needed.· Adjust machine controls and change tool setting in order to keep dimensions within specified tolerances.
- Identify and correct issues that might occur during the shift.· Keep records of approved and defective units or final products· Maintain activity logs· Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements : REQUIRED SKILLSProven experience as a Swiss Machinist Working knowledge of diverse high-speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer etc.
Understanding of production proceduresAdherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of protective gear)Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.
Analytical skillsAttention to detail.Teamwork and communication skillsPhysical stamina and strengthHigh school diploma or equivalent;
