Must-Have : Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences in a licensable discipline
Job Description :
- Provide psychiatric crisis evaluation and treatment planning, as well as individual, family, and group therapy in emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
- Conduct individual assessments, including diagnosis, individualized treatment planning, safety planning, and referrals as appropriate.
- Utilize a brief, solution-focused model for services.
- Work cooperatively with assigned treatment teams, including psychiatrists, mid-level providers, and other clinicians, to provide evidence-based practice.
- Collaborate effectively with other community providers and resources.
- Meet documentation standards in terms of timeliness and accuracy, using electronic medical records.
- Participate in hospital committees and teams, focusing on building strong working relationships within all areas of behavioral health.
- Float to other areas of behavioral health operations as required once licensed.
