A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Claim Adjuster.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate claim details to determine compensability and total value, adjusting reserves accordingly
Initiate investigations, assign defense counsel, and ensure timely indemnity payments and state filings
Monitor medical treatment, coordinate accommodations, and maintain adequate reserves throughout the claim's life
Required Qualifications
3-5 years of Lost Time / Legal claims handling experience; preferred 5+ years
Possess FL-All Lines Adjuster or Workers' Compensation License and maintain CEU credits
Experience with settling claims and handling multiple types of claims
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with depositions, mediations, and litigation
