Job Details
Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion, including ground up construction and K-12 construction.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop and manage project budgets, conduct cost control analysis, and identify and implement cost-saving measures.
- Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring all tasks are carried out according to plan and regulations.
- Review work progress on a daily basis and resolve any emerging issues or delays.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication at all stages of the project.
- Implement and oversee quality control procedures, ensuring all work meets or exceeds the company and client standards.
- Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations and ensure they are followed throughout the project.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management in the construction industry, with a focus on commercial, retail, and school construction.
- Proven experience in ground up construction and K-12 construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods.
- Expertise in project management, construction management, contract management, budgeting, cost control, scheduling, and quality control.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to plan and see the big picture .
- Competent in conflict and crisis management.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Leadership and human resources management skills.
- Proficient in construction project management software.
- Professional Project Management (PMP) certification is a plus.
