Production Manager (located in Twin Falls, ID - relocation offered!)

We are seeking a Production Manager for a rapidly growing meal service provider in TWIN FALLS, IDAHO!

Homestyle Direct is a leading provider of pre-made meals for individuals who face challenges in feeding themselves. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee our production processes, ensuring the timely and safe delivery of high-quality meals to our clients.

As the central leadership figure, you will be responsible for leading a diverse workforce, driving growth, fostering personal and professional development, and maintaining adherence to strict process standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Enforce strict adherence to all standard processes and specifications to ensure food safety standards.
• Actively participate in achieving production results by monitoring performance, recognizing achievements, and communicating effectively with the team.
• Collaborate with inventory and scheduling teams to develop weekly schedules that align with client needs to optimize resources and process effectiveness while prioritizing team member safety.
• Analyze and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to sustain process improvements and identify opportunities for further enhancements.
• Generate reports and dashboards to track progress and make data-based decisions.
• Train and develop direct reports on how to successfully run a highly efficient and well-organized production floor.
• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in the production process; implement solutions to improve flow and reduce waste.
• Coordinate staffing requirements with the site HR function.
• Conduct performance management activities, including setting goals, conducting reviews, and addressing performance issues in a cooperative manner.
• Foster positive employee relations through consistent interpersonal interactions and organizing team-building events.
• Promote a culture of personal investment among team members, emphasizing care for themselves, each other, the business, and the work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in leading teams in a high-speed packaging environment.
• Strong understanding of raw materials, production processes, and finished goods management.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is required.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel data analysis.
• Experience with inventory and cost management systems such as Oracle, SAP, or MS Dynamics.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing 40-50 pounds, as the role may involve physical tasks related to production processes.
• Ability to stand for entire shift.
• Ability to complete repetitive motion activities including bending and twisting throughout the shift.
• Will work near moving mechanical parts and moderate noise with variable temperatures (hot and cold).
