We offer a comprehensive range of services, including Biosolids Management Planning, Dewatering, Gravity Thickening, Rotary Drum Thickening, Anaerobic Digestion, Thermal Drying, Composting, Odor Control, and Energy Recovery and Co-Generation.

You will join forces with industry-leading process engineers who have collaborated on numerous biosolids projects, from major thermal drying facilities in large cities to small treatment plants seeking to upgrade sludge processing equipment.

Our strong relationships with equipment vendors and operators provide us with deep insights into optimal system configurations, safety considerations, and capital costs.

What will you be doing?

As a Senior Project Manager , you will work collaboratively with a team of experts to provide biosolids management and wastewater treatment solutions for small to large wastewater systems throughout New England.

In this capacity, you will be responsible for leading the technical aspects of business development activities related to biosolids management prospects.

It is expected that your biosolids knowledge and industry connections will serve as the basis for creating technically sound proposals.

Senior Project Managers will be technical leaders in the business line and are highly encouraged to partake in industry organizations and to present and publish the results of your team’s work.

Regarding project execution, you will be expected to lead teams of process engineers as well as engineers from supporting trades to develop comprehensive deliverables.

This could include biosolids planning studies, the design of any of the biosolids systems mentioned above, or the management of construction phase engineering.

Tighe & Bond has a number of active projects involving everything from biosolids management studies for regulators and utilities to solids thickening, dewatering and drying system designs.

You may also be involved with the support and management of other wastewater process upgrades and planning efforts.

What does a Senior Project Manager need?

Substantial years of consulting engineering experience and increasing responsibility in the water industry. A BS degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering or a related field is required, and an MS degree is preferred.

Senior Project Managers will need a PE license, project management experience, and great technical skills. You are expected to be enthusiastic to learn, self-motivated, and have strong, clear, and concise written and verbal communication skills.

You will need to have strong leadership ability and a desire to manage and mentor others.

Senior Project Manager salaries are determined based on internal equity and market analysis and will vary based on the candidate’s skill and experience;

the salary range for this position is $134,000 $176,000. As an employee-owned company, we also offer generous year-end bonuses and robust deferred income benefits to help you build wealth through our matching 401(k), ESOP, and annual profit sharing.
