Qualifications

Job QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineer is preferred

10+ years of hands-on Java / OOP development experience with primary focus on backend systems

3+ years of experience managing a small team providing direct guidance and project leadership as well as mentorship

Knowledge of cloud services like AWS / Azure

Knowledge about orchestration services, Docker and Kubernetes desired

Experience developing REST / Graphql API horizontally scalable services

Experience in event-based architectures and messaging platforms like Kafka is desired

Experience architecting projects integrating across systems

Understanding of micro-services architecture / containerization

Proven experience with test driven development

Familiarity with GIT version control system

Working experience with agile development

Familiarity with continuous integration and build tools like Maven or Gradle

Hands-on experience with RDBMS and / or NoSql databases like DynamoDB / Redis

Effective communication skills with business users and other developers

Experience with JavaScript / React development

Multi-threading programming

Python and / or C# object oriented development

Knowledge of distributed systems like Apache Cassandra

Financial services, especially asset management industry experience is a plus

Salary range for the position : $110,000 - $225,000 / Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award.

The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit’s incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
