Job Description

About the Company : Apparel manufacturer specializing in the young contemporary and juniors market.

Responsibilities :

• Coordinate and support all aspects of the product development and pre-production process from concept through final sample approval.
• Manage and track all samples, ensuring timely receipt, organization, and distribution to relevant team members.
• Work closely with and provide daily support to the Sr Designer / Design Director throughout the pre-production process.
• Liaise with vendors, factories, and internal teams to ensure sample deadlines and production timelines are met.
• Assist in preparing technical packages and communicate design intent for new styles.
• Maintain detailed records of sample status, comments, approvals, and changes using tracking tools or spreadsheets.
• Participate in fittings, take notes, and relay feedback to appropriate parties for revisions.
• Coordinate the preparation of samples for meetings, presentations, and market appointments.
• Support design room organization, including fabric library management and sample archiving.
• Assist with special projects as needed by the design or production team.

Qualifications :

Salary : $50-60K
