SUMMARY : A well-respected, growing Christian organization is seeking a Business Support Analyst. The ideal candidate will have Ellucian Banner work experience and will be working closely with the Finance and Administration team, focusing on ERP systems, SIS, reporting tools, and related software.

This role ensures the functionality and efficiency of business applications to better serve various stakeholders.

Responsibilities :

• Support the effective use of technology resources within designated business areas.
• Provide technical assistance, including report generation, data analysis, testing, training, and implementation, especially for Finance and Administration functions.
• Deliver user support and training.
• Track, resolve, and document user inquiries and issues.
• Diagnose, analyze, test, and propose solutions for business application problems.
• Create reports using licensed tools.
• Evaluate internal processes to identify opportunities for improving efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with business units to gather and document requirements.
• Help develop and update procedures and test plans, and carry out test plans.
• Ensure alignment with organizational goals through effective coordination and communication with business units and IT.

Must Have Requirements :

• Understanding of business systems, applications, and processes.
• Knowledge of computer architecture, software, and support techniques.
• Familiarity with enterprise applications.
• Experience with data tools, reporting software, and data storage solutions like Cognos, Argos, SQL, and data warehouses.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with a diverse group of individuals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in business and technical contexts.
• Ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.
• Experience adhering to best practices in system development and project management.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently and within a team.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Analytical, critical thinking, and strategic planning abilities.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive data appropriately.
• Knowledge of data security best practices.

Nice to Haves :

• Familiarity with diagramming and data flow tools.
• Experience in analyzing business processes, software integrations, and identifying optimal solutions.
• Ability to understand and improve workflows, forms, and business processes.

Education and Experience : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience, with at least four years of relevant experience.
