Position : Immediate Opportunities for RN - Cardiac Cath Lab (Nursing)
Pay Rate : $78 / hr
Location : Rochester, NY, 14617
Shift : 10hr Day
Duration : 13 Weeks Contract
Guaranteed Hours : 40
Description / Comment :
- ARRT Certification Required NY license required.
- 10-hour shifts; small possibility of needing to also take on-call hours as well - discuss on interview.
- EP / Cath Lab experience required.
- Cath Lab scrubbing experience required, including structural.
- AHA BLS - Certification is preferred at the time of submission, however the facility can set them up with RQI BLS if they do not have.
- Equipment : GE
- Does NOT accept locals within 50 miles!
Key Responsibilities :
- Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Administer medications and manage patient sedation.
- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Record vital signs and document patient information.
- Educate patients and families about procedures and care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team for individualized patient care.
- Adhere to safety and infection control standards.
Qualifications :
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Previous experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab preferred.
- Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
