Position : TechnicalProject Manager Location : St. Louis

4x / week onsite

Contract Length : Will extend beyond EOY Top Requirements :

2-5 years of PM experience

Experience with upgrade migration projects

Understands how to stand up a DB - intake call, server order, build DB, give permissions

Understands the flow of how technology upgrade / migration projects work

Project tracking (MS Project, JIRA, Smartsheets)

Day to Day Responsibilities / project specifics : This team works in a cyclical pattern annually where they learn their budget and from there decide how many thousands of databases will be upgraded in a certain year.

This year's projects include SQL DB upgrades, decommissioning environments and moving certain applications to different data centers.

This role is cyclical as related to contacting application owners, helping them understand the process, documenting throughout and tracking progress as their applications are moved / upgraded.

The team seeks a project manager than understands the flow of upgrade / migration projects and can provide clear communication to all parties involved regularly.

There is a weekly status call where the PM will be expected to compose a document with updates including progress toward goals and project plans.

The team consists of 11 total DBAs - a mix of on and offshore resources.
