Objective of Job
- This position will be responsible for assisting in new program launch activities.
- Optimizing productivity and quality of existing programs
Principal Activities :
- Assist production and maintenance in isolating complex manufacturing issues whether it is in process, material, or machine functionality related.
- Eliminate manufacturing waste through process optimization (time, scrap, effort, etc.).
- Reduce cycle times and increase efficiency of automated equipment by changing equipment parameters or PLC program.
- Maintain and update production documentation (Process Flow, PFMEA, Work Instructions, etc.).
- Assist in program start-ups involving processes, equipment, machinery, and tools (fixtures and jigs).
- Create Standards for new equipment and processes set up in series production.
- Review product engineering changes (PI) and give feedback for implementation cost.
Job Requirements :
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Automotive Manufacturing and / or Engineering experience
- 1-2 years Automated Manufacturing experience required
- 1-2 years Injection Molding experience and / or knowledge required
Additional Knowledge :
- Automation controls (heavy machinery operation)
- Strong MS Office Technical Knowledge
- Creation of SOPs
