Requirements :

Doctorof Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent from anaccrediteduniversity

SPECIALWORKINGCONDITIONS

Abilityto sit or stand and work at a computer for long periods oftime.

Abilityto be confident around animals (i.e. dogs cats birds reptiles etc.Candidate to confirm species treated with practice leadership foradditionalclarity.)

Clientneeds and work volume may occasionally require more than 40 hoursper week to complete essential duties of this job.

This positionmay require special working hours including working weekendsevenings and / orholidays.

Musthave mental capacity and processes for reasoning rememberingmathematics and language ability (reading writing and speaking theEnglish language) to perform the dutiesproficiently.

Thenoise level in the work environment is moderately high. Ear plugswill be available upon request.

Jobrequires sufficient ambulatory skills in order to perform requiredduties whileworking.

Abilityto sit stand walk stoop kneel crouch and climb as well asmanipulate (lift carry move) up to 50pounds.

Requiresgood handeye coordination armhandfinger dexterity with the abilityto grasp and visual acuity to use a keyboard and operate otherequipment asrequired.

Specificvision abilities required by this job include close vision distancevision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and abilityto adjustfocus.

Hospitalteammates are routinely exposed to a variety of animals that maybite kick or scratch and on occasion may be exposed to anesthesiaradiation biological or zoonotic hazards and / ormedication / controlledsubstances.
