LHH is partnering with a non-profit organization that is looking for a temporary to hire, part-time Accounting Clerk. The ideal candidate will either be taking classes towards a degree in accounting or have at least six months of work experience in an accounting role.
You will be processing payments, reconciling accounts, and updating vendor profiles. You will work with a friendly accounting team so training will be provided.
And since this is a part-time role, there will be flexibility in how you work those hours. This is a great opportunity for either a current accounting student to gain some professional work experience in the field or for any accounting professional that is looking for a part-time commitment.
Responsibilities :
- Processing payments
- Reviewing and entering in accounting data into the new software
- Updating client account information
- Reconciling accounts and reviewing variances
- Additional tasks as needed
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance would be helpful
- At least six months of previous office or accounting experience
- Professional communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and ability to navigate other software systems with ease
