JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS :

The laboratory of Kenneth Knappenberger in the Department of Chemistry, at The Pennsylvania State University, seeks to fill a part-time research associate position in his lab, working a maximum of hours per week.

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out research in molecular and / or materials spectroscopy and to engage in the planning, preparation, and writing of research manuscripts and grant proposals.

Interest in learning multi-dimensional spectroscopy is preferred. Applicants should at least have a PhD degree in chemistry.

Experience in spectroscopy, including magnetic field effects, and scientific writing is desired.
