We are looking for a Marketing Data Analyst to join our team in WEST DES MOINES, Iowa. This role involves processing and analyzing customer data, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on data analytics in the marketing industry.
This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities :
- Accurately process and analyze customer credit applications using various data mining techniques and tools.
- Maintain accurate customer credit records using relational databases and SQL databases.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Utilize Salesforce Marketing and Marketing Automation software to create and manage reports.
- Leverage analytical tools such as Atlassian Jira, Power BI, and Tableau to derive meaningful insights from data.
- Use advanced Excel formulas to manage and manipulate data.
- Apply business intelligence (BI) principles to support decision-making processes.
- Merge and analyze data from various sources and of differing formats to provide comprehensive reports.
- Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action based on data analysis.
- Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, ensuring solutions are delivered on time.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role as a Marketing Data Analyst or related field
- Proficiency in Atlassian Jira
- Strong understanding and experience in Business Intelligence (BI)
- Familiarity with Relational Database and SQL Database
- Proven experience in Data Mining, including knowledge of Data Mining Algorithms, Techniques, and Tools
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
- Proficient in using Marketing Automation Platforms and Marketing Automation Software
- Advanced knowledge of Excel Formulas
- Experience in using Power BI and Tableau for data visualization
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, statistics, or a related field.
