Please Note : This is a Utah-based hybrid position which will require some regular in-office days each week.

Essential Job Duties

As a candidate for this role, you will be the expert on BambooHR's technology portfolio, ensuring that technology resources are effectively managed throughout their life cycle.

Your responsibilities will include aligning the organization's technology investments with its strategic goals, conducting research and analysis to optimize spending, and enhancing software adoption.

You will help manage the acquisition, adoption, license utilization, usage trends, and retirement of technology assets. Additionally, you will use reports and dashboards to monitor system performance, conduct six-month reviews to determine ROI and usage, and maintain the SaaS management software and app service catalog.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams for successful technology implementation, plan for the retirement or replacement of outdated technologies, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and assist with technology audits.

Essential skills include experience with tools like Coupa, Wrike, Productiv, Jira, and Netsuite.

  • Strategic Alignment : Align the organization's technology investments with its strategic goals and objectives. Develop strategies and roadmaps for the adoption and integration of new technologies in collaboration with business leaders.
  • Research and Analysis : Conduct research and analysis to optimize technology spending and enhance software adoption within the technology portfolio.

Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and improve technology utilization.

Technology Management : Oversee the acquisition, adoption, license utilization, usage trends and retirement of technology assets as directed by IT Management.

Maintain the SaaS management software and ensure the technology portfolio is up to date, including the app service catalog.

Performance Monitoring : Utilize reports and dashboards to monitor and evaluate the performance and effectiveness of technology systems.

Conduct six-month reviews to assess ROI, adoption and usage / utilization metrics.

Implementation and Deployment : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and deployment of technology solutions.

Guide smaller app implementations and work with the Program Management team on large-scale implementations

Lifecycle Management : Plan for the retirement or replacement of outdated technologies, including developing migration strategies and managing associated risks.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards related to technology

Audit and Compliance : Assist with technology audits, including locating missing contracts and assigning ownership. Ensure all technology assets comply with relevant regulations and standards.

What You Need to Get the Job Done

  • 3+ years of experience as a business analyst, program manager or project manager, preferred.
  • Strong desire to simplify processes and align teams with technology.
  • Good understanding of common business applications and their uses.
  • Interest in business technology solutions.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Coupa, Productiv, JIRA and Netsuite or equivalent solutions.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and analysis to inform technology decisions.
  • Experience in using data to drive insights and optimize technology investments.
  • Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Strong communication skills to articulate technology strategies and roadmaps.
  • Experience in guiding software implementations.
  • Ability to develop and execute detailed project plans.
