Job Description
- Assist project managers in overseeing light commercial construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, superintendents, and subcontractors to coordinate project activities and resolve any issues that arise.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify potential risks, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, and documentation.
- Participate in progress meetings, prepare reports, and communicate project updates to stakeholders.
- Support project managers in managing subcontractor agreements, change orders, and project closeout processes.
- Assist in the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in commercial or light industrial settings.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Proficiency in project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work well under pressure.
- Passion for architecture and innovative design.
