About Your Next Opportunity
HTC VIVE is looking for a Head of Consumer Sales to play an essential role in our Enterprise VR Strategy.
As the Head of Consumer Sales, you'll be tasked with developing and executing a comprehensive online sales strategy to increase revenue and expand market share.
This involves crafting a robust strategic plan that identifies new market opportunities and sets ambitious yet achievable sales targets.
Your role will require analyzing market trends, understanding consumer behavior, and assessing the competitive landscape to create innovative strategies that effectively position our products and services in the digital marketplace.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Create and execute a strategic plan to drive online sales growth, including identifying new market opportunities, setting sales targets, and optimizing the online sales funnel.
- Develop new business opportunities by analyzing and proactively targeting high-value needs across multiple functions and business lines.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly customer experience.
- Optimize product listings, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
- Work closely with the digital marketing team to align sales and marketing efforts, including SEO / SEM, social media advertising, email marketing, and content creation.
- Focus on improving the online customer journey, from initial contact to post-purchase support.
- Implement strategies to increase customer retention and loyalty.
- Analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to make informed decisions.
- Utilize Salesforce & additional automation tools in the tracking & execution of daily sales activities.
- Prepare weekly / monthly / quarterly action plans.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Abilities)
- Bachelor's degree.
- 8+ years of experience in online sales and e-commerce management with a track record of achieving sales targets.
- In-depth knowledge of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing tools, and sales analytics.
- Experience selling immersive technology solutions (i.e., AR / VR).
- Experience working with government accounts.
- Experience selling Hardware enterprise solutions.
- Proven 'hunter (new business)' selling skills.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Experience with and effective execution of a complex, solution-based strategic sales process.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth software company where change is a constant.
- Able to function independently, as well as collaboratively with HTC VIVE's team members.
- Travel to industry events and in-person meetings within your accounts when needed.
- Experience using the following : SalesForce, Office 365, Power BI, Teams, and Asana.
Working Conditions
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Primary work location is indoors.
- The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 15 pounds.
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and long periods of detailed work with VR equipment.
- The employee is regularly required to sit.
