Job Description :
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the data governance framework, policies, and processes.
This role involves extensive coordination with Client and partner stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of the data governance framework, policy development, and its application to the systems used by the Client.
You will play a crucial role in delivering data governance decisions and guidance for data sources to be ingested into the new Enterprise Data Warehouse, including Electronic Health Record data from the Community Service Boards (CSBs).
This position is part of the Data Exchange Team and requires close collaboration to align activities across projects. The role demands strong communication skills, particularly in facilitating meetings, recording minutes, and following up on action items from various councils and teams.
Experience in data governance, data warehouse implementations, data exchange, data analytics, and Health IT projects is highly desirable.
Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies :
Proficient in communication and negotiation at all organizational levels, including senior leadership.
Proficient in scheduling, time management, and risk management, with a strong ability to identify and mitigate risks.
Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire.
Experience in vendor management, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and ensuring successful delivery of vendor solutions.
Proficient in both waterfall and agile project management techniques.
PMP certification (REQUIRED).
Familiarity with cloud-based data governance solutions, data integration, data modeling, and metadata management.
Agreement to obtain Client PMDP qualification (Required).
Experience managing projects that implement data governance policies, processes, and tools.
Experience with reporting and analytics, understanding and interpreting data analytics and reporting requirements.
Experience with business rules engines, ETL tools, and data exchange solutions.
Experience in Health IT and data warehouse implementations.
Experience in procuring technology solutions, including managing the Request for Proposal (RFP) process.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00 / hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
