Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner Goodyear AZ (20 miles W of Phoenix)

$140k-$150k / year

We are looking for a motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice full time in Goodyear, AZ.

Our ideal Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner is a team player, comfortable working within an integrated setting, collaborating with a knowledgeable and well-respected team of professionals, to offer a comprehensive approach to patients living with acute and chronic pain.

Job duties include performing musculoskeletal and joint injections.

Duties :

• Patient exam / evaluation (medical history, physical exam, review pertinent med records / imaging)
• Order and review tests / labs
• Diagnosis and treatment plan formulation
• Patient education as to diagnosis, treatment options, rehab / exercises and various modalities
• Manage patient care / case management
• Treatments- perform trigger point and joint injections
• Documentation and progress notes
• Collaboration with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care

Requirements :

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
• Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner license in AZ
• Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is a plus
• Experience with joint injections a plus but we will provide training for the right candidate
• Must have Current DEA #

Schedule :

• Mon-Friday with office hours ending early on Friday
• No nights, no weekends, and no on-call.

Compensation :

$140k-$150k per year (DOE)
