About The Position
Job Title : Technologist Job Specialty : Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Job Duration : 13 Shift : 10 : 00 AM - 8 : 30 PM Guaranteed Hours : N / A Experience : 2+ Years License : Michigan license verification required Certifications : ARRT, BLS (AHA) Must-Have : Experience with X-ray, Travel experience, Willingness to obtain BLS prior to start Job Description : Perform a variety of imaging procedures in accordance with established policies and procedures, typically requiring general supervision.
- Provide straightforward explanations and instructions to foster a sense of comfort and confidence in patients, ensuring individual patient needs are met.
- Operate and maintain all assigned imaging department equipment, including x-ray machines.- Position patients and use radiologic equipment to accurately capture images requested by physicians.
- Accurately perform all imaging exams as ordered, following established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws.- Ensure that the physician on duty is notified of imaging results.
