This exciting position requires a Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to establish and grow psychiatric services and work in collaboration with counselors on an integrated team.

This is a 1099 position and is ambulatory work that can be a combination of in person and telehealth.

Responsibilities :

• Manages the healthcare of patients with compassion, cultural sensitivity, and preserves dignity and rights.
• Prescribes medications and non-pharmacological therapies based on the patient’s diagnoses, health history, and age.
• Encourages positive health behaviors through education and counseling.
• Applies standardized care guidelines in clinical practice.
• Performs designated procedures.
• Ensures compliance.

Qualifications and skills :

• Required Board License PMHNP.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated and a self-starter.
• Ability to function as an effective member of an integrated healthcare team.
• Two years relevant clinical health experience preferred.
