CNC Machinist
Job Description
- Set up and operate a CNC Index Multispindle for medium-high volume production.
- Notify supervisor of abnormal situations for corrective action.
- Make recommendations for improvements in methods of performance of work.
- Maintain good housekeeping conditions and enforce safety practices.
- Complete and maintain any required documentation.
- PCC Corporate Safety Training.
This role requires the candidate to learn the setup and operation of a unique machine and use problem-solving skills to keep it running.
Additionally, the candidate will operate a Mori machine to take precise measurements and produce parts.
Hard Skills
- Strong Geometric Dimensional & Tolerances (GD&T)
- Math skills
- Understanding of basic tabletop gages Micrometers, Calipers, gages, bore micrometers
- Ability to read machining CNC programs and basic understanding of common 'G' and 'M' codes
- Experience with Siemens controls for lathe machine tools (preferred)
- Experience with Index Multispindle machines (preferred)
- Knowledge of Fanuc controls
- Experience with machines like Acme Gridley, Davenport, New Britain
- Tool grinding experience

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 120 Days until direct hire.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Tukwila, Washington.
Work Environment
Aerospace Machine Workshop
Multi-spindle Machinist $22-$36 DOE
1 weekday day shift, Mon-Thurs (3x12+4) from 5am to 5 : 30pm.
1 weekday graveyard, Mon-Thurs (3x12+4) from 5pm to 5 : 30am.
1 weekend day shift, Fri-Sun from 5am to 5 : 30pm.
2 weekend graveyard, Fri-Sun from 5pm to 5 : 30am
