Human Resources Generalist I (west coast remote)

Position Location : remote US

Hours : Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Position Summary :

• Provide expertise in regard to company policies, benefits, programs, and employee handbook
• Answer and address employee HR-related questions and concerns
• Assist in researching and resolving employee relations inquiries and issues in a timely manner
• Stay updated on the latest HR regulations, trends, and best practices
• Assist in processing leave requests and complaints, necessary investigations, and disciplinary actions

Core Responsibilities :

• Utilize demonstrated knowledge of the HR field, including an understanding of federal, state, and local employment regulations
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion
• Problem solve in an ambiguous, fast paced environment with minimal supervision
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills
• Comfort handling multiple priorities and pivoting as needs change
• Organized and detail oriented
• Result driven and Metrics oriented
• Working experience on MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field
• 1-3 years of experience as HR Generalist in a Tech organization
• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
• Strong time management skills and attention to detail
