Our client is a pioneering leader in the development of conductive textiles, inks, powders and specialized coatings. Our client is looking for a highly motivated Conductive Textile Laminate Development Manager for their ESD Products to manage and grow their product offerings and applications.
Experience Developing Laminates for ESD Fabrics and Textiles or Related Required !
Company Location : Northern California ( R emote for qualified candidates )
Note : Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Greencard)
Position Summary :
Take the Lead in the Development of ESD Product Applications for new and existing products used in control of static electricity in affected workplaces.
Products may include worksurfaces, shelving and mobile equipment surface coverings as well as possible flooring applications.
New product development using existing company technologies is also a key responsibility for this position.
Key Focus :
1) Identify ESD Applications for existing and potentially new ESD Products
2) Develop and Engineer new ESD Products
3) Key focus on Laminates for Conductive Textiles used in company's ESD Product line.
Key Responsibilities :
Working closely with management to Identify , Design and Engineer the next generation of ESD Products and Materials for use in the Industrial and Electronic Static Control Market .
Lead in the creation of new products using the in-house portfolio of materials and bring in new materials and processes to support new product development.
Qualifications and Requirements :
- Strong knowledge of the Static Control Products and Applications
- Knowledge of Material Testing for Mechanical and Electrical properties
- Knowledge of related standards in the Static Control Industry is required.
- An understanding of Polymer Processing and Coating Technologies is beneficial
- 10-15 years of ESD Industry Product Development Experience
- Strong background in Product Applications and Technical Leadership roles
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Engineering, Materials or Related Physical Science
