Our family friendly pizza restaurant is looking for a General Manager.
We want a positive, upbeat person that can wear many hats and be hands-on! Seeking an individual with prior restaurant experience of 2+ years.
Pizza experience is preferred but not required.
General Restaurant Manager Responsibilities :
- This is a working manager position. You will be responsible for working the shift plus managing all aspects of the restaurant.
- Controlling costs, maximizing profit, while directly supervising members of different skill levels.
- Required to deliver realistic strategies to optimize restaurant standards & profitability.
- Must be able to foster a cohesive team while demonstrating organizational skills, event planning, mentoring, delegation, and coaching skills.
- Must be hands-on & efficient.
- Providing best-in-class hospitality with 100% guest satisfaction. Customer resolution in a timely manner.
- Oversee daily operations and increase productivity & efficiency.
- Inventory counting & recording. Bank deposits & cash maintenance.
- Food ordering 2x / week, produce ordering multiple times / week.
- Updating orders, prep lists, managing drivers, parties, and events.
- Monitor & evaluate employee performance.
- Recruit, train and develop employees. Record progress.
- Analyze data to find areas of improvement and execute the ideas.
General Restaurant Manager Requirements :
- 50 hours per week. Weekends and holidays as needed. A schedule will be determined.
- Weekly scheduling and payroll hours verified.
- Must be 21 and have a valid driver's license, vehicle, and clean driving record.
- Will need to obtain an alcohol server permit, ServSafe certification, and food handler’s permit.
- Oven cleaning management every 4-6 weeks.
- Lift up to 50 lbs., able to bend, lift, squat, reach, push, pull throughout entire shift.
- Have community involvement, off-site.
- Be outgoing, upbeat, and possess hospitality-oriented leadership qualities naturally.
- Have great communication skills.
- Customer interaction on a daily basis.
- Must be available to work weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), evenings, and holidays as needed.
- Work closely with operational director & owners.
Pay : $55,000 - $65,000 / year
