About The Position
- Job Title : X-Ray Technologist Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (9 : 30 AM - 10 : 00 PM) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel License : Permanent Ohio state license required at submission;
- compact licenses accepted for future starts Certifications : ARRT, CPR Must-Have : Navy scrub color- Complete onsite fingerprinting before starting- Nicotine-free status required- Two references from recent supervisory roles- Active certifications with no pending applications Job Description : Work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 9 : 30 AM to 10 : 00 PM- Participate in weeknight on-call duties from 11 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM- Handle weekend on-call duties on Saturdays and Sundays, rotating between 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 00 PM or 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM- Operate various X-Ray modalities : Shimadzu Rad-Speed, Shimadzu Mobile Art MX8, AGFA DXD 100, Orthoscan mini-C-arm- Conduct all emergency department general X-Ray exams, including reductions / traumas and pediatric exams- Perform portable X-rays in the units and on the floors- Meet COVID-19 vaccination requirements;
medical / religious exemptions available- Complete mandatory orientation for 16 hours- Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation Note : Orientation is non-billable and follows the facility's strict policies.
