Primary Opportunity
You will work as part of an established industrial / institutional environmental regulatory compliance team and lead the strategic direction, client interactions, and technical deliverables associated with projects under your leadership.
You will also support other team members through peer-to-peer reviews of their projects allowing you to broaden your technical and management experience.
You will be supported and mentored by a highly experienced and tenured team developing you for your next level leadership role.
There is opportunity for management responsibilities for projects and staff as well as ownership in our firm which has a well-established internal ownership transition program in place.
Types of Projects
Our clients include multinational chemical manufacturers, state and local governments, colleges and universities and other institutional organizations.
Typical projects include Clean Air Act permitting, air dispersion modeling, hazardous waste auditing and permitting and SPDES permitting.
You will leverage your technical regulatory expertise and your existing relationship with both clients and regulators to facilitate solutions and to achieve project success.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in environmental or chemical engineering from an accredited university.
- 12+ years' experience in providing environmental and health & safety regulatory compliance and design services for institutional, industrial, and governmental entities.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in New York.
- Licensed Professional Engineer in other Northeast states is preferred.
- Demonstrated subject matter expertise in at least one of the following : Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, CERCLA / solid and hazardous waste.
- Subject matter expertise in multiple environmental regulatory programs is preferred.
Salary Range : $95,000 - $115,000 per year, paid weekly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
