Construction Estimator - Building Product Manufacturer and Importer - Base Salary to 85k / year - Atlanta, GA
Our client is a leading manufacturer of architectural elements and a finished goods importer, dedicated to bringing heritage and history to life by recreating and refining traditional craftsmanship methods.
Since 1997, they have been crafting inspiring interior design pieces that blend timeless elegance with modern appeal, using the finest quality raw materials to deliver unparalleled visual beauty and craftsmanship.
They are seeking a Construction Estimator to join their team. The Construction Estimator will be responsible for transforming design concepts into reality by managing project timelines, costs, and resources to ensure successful execution and delivery of high-quality finished goods.
Responsibilities :
- Provide technical and product support to the Sales Team on a daily basis.
- Work directly with clients to confirm technical details for custom natural stone and wood orders.
- Manage sales inquiries, create material takeoffs, and develop cost estimates using historical data.
- Obtain and negotiate pricing and lead times with suppliers for various projects.
- Produce clear, itemized estimates and offer cost-effective solutions.
- Review and validate project details, pricing, and lead times for accuracy.
- Collaborate with the CAD Team to produce production packages and schedule templating.
- Perform quality control checks and manage samples for custom projects.
- Assist in improving processes and standard operating procedures for workflow efficiency.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and gather material specifications for product collateral. Qualifications :
- HS Diploma
- HS Diploma
- 3+ years of experience in estimating and project management
- Can read architectural plans and estimate construction project
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of diplomacy and problem-solving skills
Compensation :
- Base salary in the 75k - 85k / year range
