Job Description :

We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resources Generalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, the ability to handle ad hoc duties, and a passion for people.

Responsibilities :

• Assistance with the Employee Onboarding Process : Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
• Implementation of Company Training and Work Plans : Assist in the development and implementation of company training programs and work plans to ensure employees are equipped with the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
• Managing Benefits Administration : Have experience in administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other company-provided benefits.
• Planning Employee Initiatives : Assist in planning and executing employee initiatives aimed at fostering a positive and engaging work environment.
• Ensuring Compliance : Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.

This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.

Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.

• Handling Visa Processes : Assist in obtaining visas for employees as needed, ensuring compliance with immigration laws and regulations.
• Ad hoc responsibilities : Assist the administration team with other tasks as needed.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Human Resources Generalist or similar role.
• Excellent inter-personal skills.
• Self- starter.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• SHRM-CP a plus.

Experience with Paylocity (or similar payroll platform) a plus.
