Piper Companies is searching for a CT Technician to join a well known healthcare organization & system in Cary, NC. The CT Technician will operate CT scanners and related equipment at a healthcare facility.
This is a full-time opportunity with a multiple schedules available.
Responsibilities of the CT Technician :
- Prepare patients for their upcoming procedure(s)
- Operate the CT equipment in order to generate diagnostic scans
- Successfully complete scan activities and maintain a high standard of patient care
- Assist physicians in the performance of diagnostics
- Interpret patient information to identify specific needs for the procedure and requirements for care
Qualifications of the CT Technician :
- One year of CT scanning, preferred
- Applicable state license, required
- IV Credentialed, required
- ARRT in CT - RT(R) or RT(N) or CNMT at the date of hire
- Ability to adapt to procedures based on age of patient
Compensation of the CT Technician :
- $55,000 / year - $70,000 / year dependent on years of experience in the industry as a CT Tech
