The Product Owner (Data Enablement) will report to the VP of Product, and be responsible for driving our assigned aspects of the product development efforts including data services strategy.
This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in product ownership and information management to lead our related initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities :
Cross-functional Project Leadership : Work with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination to achieve organizational goals.
Contribute to the successful execution of projects by actively participating in planning, coordination, and implementation efforts.
- Define and manage the product roadmap for data enablement projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data requirements and prioritize projects.
- Oversee the development and implementation of data integration and management solutions.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across all platforms.
- Facilitate the adoption of data tools and technologies within the organization.
- Act as the primary point of contact for data-related issues and initiatives.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to continuously improve data products.
- Develop and maintain documentation for data processes and systems.
Additional Skills / Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, design, or a related field.
- 5+ years of increasing product management / ownership experience required.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, preferably in a data-focused role.
- Strong understanding of business process analysis and user-centered design.
- Experience with data management, warehousing, and integration products.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Certification as a Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent.
- Experience in higher education or similar industry sector.
- Denver region candidates preferred.

Salary Band : $130,000-$145,000
