About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Labor & Delivery / Postpartum Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 PM (Shared Weekends) Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : RN License Certifications : BLS, NRP, Fetal Heart Monitoring, ACLS Must-Have : - Skills and experience in Antepartum, Intrapartum, Post-Partum- Experience circulating for C Sections, PPBTL, D&Cs- Management of hemorrhage Job Description : - Provide comprehensive care to adult patients and newborns in the Labor & Delivery / Postpartum unit- Monitor and manage patients during antepartum, intrapartum, and post-partum stages- Assist in C Sections and other surgical procedures as needed- Ensure compliance with AWHONN Standards for patient ratios- Utilize Centricity, Perinatal, and Meditech EHR systems for documentation- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes- Demonstrate flexibility, teamwork, and a positive attitude in a dynamic environment- Engage in outdoor recreational activities as the location offers scenic hiking and biking trails and various other outdoor activities Additional Notes : Scrub color is flexible, but jean or camo scrubs are not allowed.
- The facility is a Joint Commission Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and a Certified Primary Stroke Center, with a 199-bed capacity.
