Shipping and Receiving Associates
Sam Ash Music is looking for candidates who want to work in a challenging and fun environment. Limited experience in warehousing / packaging / picking / receiving is ok.
We offer training on everything that we do. There are advancement opportunities available to those who excel in the position.
The job is fast-paced and you will be moving the entire time. If you feel that you meet the criteria, please apply.
- Loading and unloading a truck
- Pallet jack / hand truck / shrink wrap skill required
- Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages.
- Routes items to departments.
- Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
- A knowledge of musical instruments and gear would be helpful
- General knowledge of tools
- Following instructions, organization, and heavy lifting 50 lbs. and over
