Manager, Clinical Informatics, Port Angeles, 1.0 FTE, Days
Works collaboratively with users of all clinical information systems. Provides collaborative leadership with IT Manager and Applications Manager for planning and administering clinical informatics systems for all departments.
Responsible for coordinating aspects of planning, design, development, implementation, maintenance, evaluation, budgeting, and contract management of clinical information systems.
Utilizes the knowledge and skills of clinical practice to determine clinical functions that are suitable for computer application and to ensure the information systems are consistent with professional standards of clinical practice.
Oversees all development activities, system enhancements and upgrades for major clinical application system groups. Keeps the customer / end user perspective in mind throughout their work.
QUALIFICATIONS : Education
BSN or related health care Bachelor’s degree preferred. A combination of comparable experience and education may be considered.
Experience
5 years Clinical or Nursing informatics experience required. Previous management experience preferred.
