The Allergy and Asthma Care of Brooklyn (AACB) is the largest dedicated allergy practice in Brooklyn, NY. AACB is an award winning allergy clinic committed to the diagnosis and management of allergic diseases in adults and children.

The practice received the prestigious Best in Brooklyn award in 2024. The Practice has been providing care to the Brooklyn community for almost 20 years and is highly rated in terms of employee and patient satisfaction.

The practice currently has 2 offices in Brooklyn (Prospect Heights and Park slope) and is growing to other areas of Brooklyn (Williamsburg) as well as Queens (Ridgewood).

The practice is looking for two board-certified or board eligible physicians in Allergy and Immunology to provide care in its offices.

The physicians will be supported with a full staff. Medical assistants provide support to the physicians by performing allergy skin tests, spirometry, FENO readings, patch testing, oral food / drug challenges and PCN testing and rhinoscopy.

Practice uses AI for documentation so that physicians can focus on patient care. Medical assistants also fill out patient forms, send out prescriptions and obtain prior authorization.

The Allergy shot clinic is fully staffed with nurses mixing vials and administering shots.

Physician Responsibilities :

• Examine, diagnose and treat patients
• Provide guidance and supervision for other non physician members of the professional staff
• Complete charts and documentation to enable effective billing
• Provide physician coverage for the allergy shot / drop clinic
• NO hospital calls

Qualifications :

• Comfortable in seeing both pediatric and adult patients with allergy, asthma, and immunodeficiency disease in a fast paced environment
• Licensed by New York State
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills a must
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Team player

Benefits :

Compensation expectation is $300,000 in the first year. $250,000 base, $10,000 sign in bonus, remainder as bonus / profit sharing.

Bonus is disbursed quarterly based on productivity.
