Full-time Faculty Positions

Full-time faculty positions will be posted on a per-opening basis. Postings are organized by college / school and department.

Applicants will be evaluated at the college / school level for the position which they are submitting an application. Unless noted by a close date, positions will remain open until they are filled.

Part-time Faculty Positions

DePaul University invites expressions of interest for a pool of qualified Part Time Faculty to teach courses in a variety of disciplines across all 10 colleges and schools.

Individuals may enter expressions of interest by submitting their credentials to any posting for which they are qualified to teach.

Postings are organized by college / school and department. Screening of individuals in the pool is ongoing, depending on curricular need and funding.

Individuals will be contacted by the department if they reach the finalist stage for teaching a particular course or set of courses.

The pool will remain in place until the closing date specified in the posting details; those interested in remaining in the pool beyond that time must resubmit.

All individuals in the pool will be notified by email when the posting is closed.

Responsibilities : .indent-list ul list-style-position : inside; The Department of Teacher Education, Kinesiology, and Educational Studies (TEKES), in the College of Education, invites expressions of interest for part-time faculty teaching opportunities in Early Childhood Education for the 2024-2025 Academic Year.

Part-time teaching positions are available throughout the academic year, including summer sessions. Applicants with expertise that matches course scheduling needs will be contacted for an interview.

Academic course schedules fluctuate from quarter to quarter and selected individuals will work with department faculty to determine a quarterly schedule.

Courses are not guaranteed; however, the Department does its best to give ample notice about available courses and potential course cancellations.

The Early Childhood Education Program seeks applicants with expertise and experience in the following areas :

Early Childhood Mental Health

Early Childhood : Infant and Toddler Programs

Early Childhood : Family and Community Programming

Early Childhood : Preschool and Primary-grade Math and Science

Early Childhood : Preschool and Primary-grade Social Studies

Early Childhood : Preschool and Primary-grade Integrated Arts Education

Early Childhood : ESL / Bilingual / Bicultural Education

Early Childhood : Assessment

Early Growth and Development

Early Childhood Special Education

Early Language and Literacy, Acquisition and Development

Early Childhood Health, Safety, and Nutrition

The Supplemental Questions pertain to applicants' expertise in Early Childhood Education (ages Birth-8y).

Required Qualifications :

• Applicants must have a Master's degree. Some courses may require a Doctorate degree.
• The candidate must have demonstrated experience working and teaching in a diverse learning environment.
• Applicants for curriculum and instruction (i.e., "methods") courses must have minimum of 5 years of licensed teaching experience.
• Applicants must have a minimum of three years' experience in the early childhood or child development fields.
