Job Summary
Goldman Sachs Private Bank is looking to strengthen our design capability. We have an exciting opportunity for the right person to own and execute design within our Private Banking team.
In this role you will be responsible for partnering with key teams across the business including Engineering, Product Management, and Legal / Compliance to solve end-user problems and launch new Private Bank lending products and services.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end user experience designs and support the strategic design direction of key Private Bank products and services
- Design flows, sketches, prototypes, and drive the implementation of designs while leveraging a centralized design system
- Manage end user needs and expectations through the creation of journeys and concept diagrams
- Partner with cross-functional teams in to socialize and deliver high-fidelity prototypes, and design presentations
- Partner with engineering to build, spec, and manage final design files for implementation
- Validate designs through testing and research to gauge interface intuitiveness and usability
Skills & Experience
- Experience in applying human-centered principles to design solutions
- A strong portfolio of case studies that address business problems strategically
- Experience in systems thinking and solving complex problems
- Experience in advocating for design with stakeholders and cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate design decisions
- Experience applying analytics and research findings to design solutions
- Exceptional visual design, prototyping, and interaction design skills
- Nice to have : Experience with banking / finance or a regulated environment
- At least 3+ years of professional experience designing digital products
- Ability to facilitate design strategy while executing in high-fidelity
